Directing a team of approx.12 Guest Service and Underwater Photography staff at a Green Island [Cairns based] Great Barrier Reef tourist attraction.

Applicants  will need successful experience in a guest service supervisory/management role, enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine love of the Great Barrier Reef and those who come to experience it, along with proven ability in:
- managing a diverse, multicultural team to deliver outstanding guest service under demanding conditions
- organising and coordinating international guests (particularly Japanese & Chinese) in a high volume guest service environment
- motivating and training staff in a busy guest service environment
- applying solid, reliable administration
- retail management or night audit.

 

The following would be highly regarded :
- Experience with marine based tourism in Queensland
- Japanese and Chinese language and/or cultural skills
- Photography, boating, and/or recreational SCUBA experience.
